Plants & Pints 2024 (Nebraska Statewide Arboretum)

  • 344 South 2nd Road Palmyra, NE, 68418 United States (map)

Join us for an evening of conversation and connection at our annual Plants & Pints event on Tuesday, October 22, from 7-9 p.m., at Glacial Till Cider House & Tasting Room (1419 Silver Street, Ashland).

We'll offer complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar, and this year we are excited to feature former NSA Executive Director and current Director of Conservation at Lauritzen Gardens Jim Locklear as the keynote speaker. Jim will talk about his recently released book, In the Country of the Kaw: A Personal Natural History of the Great Plains. We'll also present a brief overview of the latest NSA projects and happenings.

Tickets to Plants & Pints are $25 for NSA members and $30 for non-members. All ticket purchases support NSA's tree planting, garden making and educational outreach work and help make our mission to Plant Nebraska possible -- thank you!

We are offering the option to purchase a copy of In the Country of the Kaw at the discounted price of $25 (retail price is $34.99) with your event ticket purchase; we'll have your copy ready for you to have signed by Jim at Plants & Pints. The book purchase option is only available until September 29; a very limited supply of books will be available for purchase at the event.

We look forward to seeing you at Plants & Pints!
